William Grant is an American Baptist minister serving a congregation of many faiths, cultures and traditions, including people exploring exactly what they believe. Born and raised in Hawaii, he was educated at Andover Newton Theological School, trained in community organizing by the Industrial Areas Foundation, consults on leadership development for businesses and organizations, and leads school-based programs in Brooklyn. He founded the Hip Hop Academy and publishes HitZ Magazine. He lives in the East Village with his wife Cynthia; his son Joshua is in financial services in Boston.
